![]() I installed the browser extension so I could fill one password. Then I tried to use one password one time. I created a git repo, another git repo hosted online, imported my passwords, verified the encryption, synchronized between the repos. I spent a few hours setting up 'pass', the standard Unix password manager. Chasing me off is in their interests, excluding the value of network effects. I don't blame LastPass, I'm the kind of customer who cost them money and would probably never pay. It added up to too much on an ongoing basis for just a password manager. ![]() ![]() After receiving the LastPass email I first evaluated whether I wanted to pay for the premium features, and I decided I didn't want to. ![]()
